Thundamentals Release Video & Acoustic Version For ‘Everybody But You’ + Announce 2018 ‘Got Love’ Initiative

Following the release of their critically acclaimed, #1 Australian album I Love Songs, fueled by lead single ‘I Miss You’, Sydney trio Thundamentals release the charming, nostalgic music video for album favourite single ‘Everybody But You’, one of triple j’s most played songs throughout October and November. Listen to the acoustic version here.

Thundamentals also kicked off their epic national tour recently at a packed Forum Theatre in Melbourne, and now take in all capital cities across the next month before wrapping up in Fremantle on Saturday 8th December. In an exciting first after ten years of touring, Tuka, Jeswon and Morgs are joined on stage by a full six-piece band, headed by album co-producer Carl Dimataga, giving fans across the country the opportunity to immerse themselves in the live energy of the I Love Songs tracks and revel in Thundas classics in an entirely new light. Limited tickets are still available for the remaining dates.

In addition, after partnering with The Asylum Seeker Center in 2016 and the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in 2017, Thundamentals have announced the next chapter of their Got Love Initiative, donating all profits from the 2018 edition of the Got Love t-shirt to the Gadigal Information Service, home of Koori Radio 93.7 FM. Since it’s establishment in 1993, Gadigal has been the leading Indigenous cultural, arts and media organisation in NSW. A core element of the service is to provide a multi-faceted platform for the diverse talents of Indigenous people, and by developing and promoting our communities capabilities to deliver a broader appreciation of Indigenous arts and culture to Australian society.

Thundamentals – I Love Songs – Out Now

Hip-hop heavyweights Thundamentals – Tuka, Jeswon and DJ Morgs – bring you their fifth album, ‘I Love Songs’, their most progressive full-length yet. Fans of the group will be familiar with their frequent political commentary, but in the midst of an increasingly turbulent society, Thundamentals have decided to focus their album on what’s been lost amongst the chaos: Love. As a result, ‘I Love Songs’ is an intensely personal listen, focusing on love in its varying forms, and showing Thundamentals’ undeniable writing ability in a more intimate light. With the subject matter at hand, it’s no surprise that this is Thundamentals’ most effortless album, and their quickest to complete. ‘I Love Songs’ explores the isolation and broken romances that happen behind the scenes, away from the sold-out crowds and star-studded festivals. It’s an album of stark contrast, and brutally honest introspection that yearns for something more. Buy on iTunesAmazonEbay Get it on Google Play
